Ok, probably going to be more serious here than funny, but what the hell, we’ll give it a shot. I mean the only reason I’m even releasing a Chronicles was to get the new web site out there. So, what we will do is some nonsensical ramblings of the lunatic mind!

Some of the girls went to Chicago to see a green river and have some pizza….what am I missing here? Seriously, pick a bridge, any bridge (Queensboro, Williamsburgh, Manhattan, Brooklynn, Tri-Boro) and just look down….hellllooooo Green fucking river! Hell, take a ride over towards the Fresh Kill land fill and you’ll see every color in the spectrum!

And Pizza….come on….if your not getting it deep enough let us know!

Ok, mostly everybody saw the eMail Kenny sent about the autistic kid from NY who scored the 20 points….and if you didn’t see the eMail you heard about it. Harry, made a great point that every CYO coach should have to see this and many people stated they agreed…..as do I.

However, can someone explain to me why its NOT a CYO rule already that every kid play every game? I mean at least through 8th grade. Hell, parents are paying over $100 per sport per kid per season and they might not play!?! Sorry, but that’s crap. The rule should state that every kid plays at least 1 minute per quarter. Do the math….In a game with 7 minute quarters, there are 140 man minutes per game. If you have 15 kids on your roster lets say your subs play the minimum 1 minute per qtr, that’s just 40 of those 140 minutes. That means your 5 starters play 100 minutes….or 5 minutes per qtr each! And yes, you can work out the same thing for any sport, but the CYO itself is just another scam money making machine while there are too many parents, players & coaches who would rather their starters play 6:45 per quarter. The sad thing, by doing this the competition would be better, every player would get better, every team would get better.

I won’t hold my breath.

Why was Mary Lou Retton such a star? Because out of nowhere she won the gold. Same thing with the 80 hockey team or Kerri Strug or Eric Heiden. We celebrated those people AFTER they made it big…..just like this kid & his coach.

But Nike gives us Bode Miller who wins nothing & is proud of it! And why shouldn’t he be? He already has his payday…..winning the gold meant nothing to him. Hell, Nike gave us Dan & Dave & one of them didn’t even make the Olympic team. And if you don’t think that’s part of the trickle down effect going straight to your CYO problem then your just fucking stupid.

Hell, a senior at Christ The King with a 4 year scholarship got suspended because not only did he and his parents berate an official…..but his uncle who is also an official….punched the game official! No, theres nothing wrong with sports!

Stephon Marbury said he’s tired of playing in the “team” system and is ready to go back to being Stephon “Star-bury”…..nope, nothing fucking wrong at all!

Someone will pick TO up and the hits just keep on coming.

Cant wait for the Jets to find a way not to get one of the top 2 QB’s in the draft!

Ok, can we stop with the different groups for every single freaking thing in this world?
